SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 25,520/mt today and hovered around RMB 25,620/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 28 (SMM) – SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 25,520/mt today and hovered around RMB 25,620/mt. In the afternoon, longs entered the market, driving up SHFE 1710 zinc to RMB 25,800/mt, and closing at RMB 25,830/mt, down RMB 370/mt or 1.41%. Trading volumes increased 42,568 to 417,000 lots, and positions decreased 11,022 to 264,000. SHFE 1710 zinc will hover between the 5- and 10-day moving average this evening.
