Shandong Xinhai Technology, a large-size NPI producer in Shandong Province, has been required to cut production and reduce emissions.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 28 (SMM) – Shandong Xinhai Technology, a large-size NPI producer in Shandong Province, has been required to cut production and reduce emissions, so as to further control irregular emission of dust pollutants and improve air quality in its near-by region.

Its dust emission has disturbed normal life of near-by communities, and made vegetables in greenhouses in the region sterile. 
The problem has not been resolved effectively, despite being tipped-off many times. 

SMM learns from ore trader that the company is not active in ore purchases at ports recently, and SMM will follow up the development. 

One EAF NPI Producer in Shandong to Restart Production

In July, Shandong Xinhai Technology produced 100,000 tonnes of high-grade NPI or 9,000 tonnes in Ni content in July, accounting for 30 per cent of nation’s total supply.
