SHANGHAI, Aug. 25 (SMM) – Downstream consumption in south China aluminum market, which was poor during the first four days of this week, improved today now that spot prices have fallen back somewhat.

Mainstream traded prices were 16,260-16,270 yuan/tonne in Guangdong, a premium of 60 yuan/tonne over Shanghai.
