Spot premiums of domestic #0 zinc fell from 350-360 yuan per tonne to 280-300 yuan per tonne due to more inflows of imported zinc, SMM said.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 25 (SMM) - Spot premiums of domestic #0 zinc fell from 350-360 yuan per tonne to 280-300 yuan per tonne due to more inflows of imported zinc, SMM said.

The imported zinc arriving this week mainly includes AZ, SMC, Namibian and Spanish zinc.

Recently, the SMM/LME zinc price ratio rose to 8.4, leaving import profit at around 500 yuan per tonne.
