SHFE Aluminum Ends Lower (2017-8-24)

SHFE 1710 aluminum opened at RMB 16,705/mt and closed at RMB 16,465/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 24 (SMM) – SHFE 1710 aluminum surged again on Wednesday’s night trading. On Thursday, the contract opened at RMB 16,705/mt and then surrendered two thirds of previous gains before closing at RMB 16,465/mt. Positions reduced 9,342 to 329,272, and positions of all SHFE aluminum contracts rose 54,706 to 968,388. Positions of SHFE 1711 aluminum were up 31,852 to 333,786.

SHFE 1710 aluminum will hover at highs in a short term.
