SHANGHAI, Aug. 24 (SMM) – China’s rebar inventory totaled 4.53 million tonnes this past week, up 83,800 tonnes from last week’s level, with growth expanding to 1.9% from 1.2%, according to SMM data.
That of wire was 1.096 million tonnes, up 27,700 tonnes or 2.6% on a weekly basis, while the figure was down 2.3% last week.
Hot-rolled plate inventory dropped 18,300 tonnes or 0.8% to 2.16 million tonnes, with decline wining from 0.5%.
