China is busy drawing up implementation regulations for environmental protection tax law, said Bie Tao, Head of policy & regulation department of Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP).  

SHANGHAI, Aug. 23 (SMM) –China is busy drawing up implementation regulations for environmental protection tax law, said Bie Tao, Head of policy & regulation department of Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP).  

Three departments have issued notices that ask local governments to make preparations for levying environmental protection tax, to be familiar with environmental protection tax and to change pollutant discharge fees into environmental protection tax.
