SHANGHAI, Aug. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 aluminum tumbled 150 yuan/tonne after opening on Tuesday , and then recovered some losses.

IAI: Primary Aluminum Daily Output outside China Unchanged in July, But Falls in China

Sellers in east China sold actively. Traders took a wait-and-see stance, while downstream producers bought as needed. Overall trading was poor.

Industry Insiders Bullish over Base Metals in H2 2017

Mainstream traded prices were 16,060-16,070 yuan/tonne in Shanghai, 16,060-16,070 yuan/tonne in Wuxi, and 16,070-16,090 yuan/tonne in Hangzhou.
