Trading slacked today in Shanghai market, SMM reports. Cargo holders sell actively, but downstream buyers only take a wait-and-see attitude.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 22 (SMM) – Trading slacked today in Shanghai market, SMM reports. Cargo holders sell actively, but downstream buyers only take a wait-and-see attitude.

Mainstream traded prices in Shanghai slid to 143,500-145,000 yuan per tonne this morning.

WBMS: World Tin Supply in Deficit January-June

Prices were 144,700-145,000 yuan per tonne for Yunxi tin. Regular tin from Yunnan Tin Group traded at 144,000-144,500 yuan per tonne. Small brand tin traded at 143,500-143,700yuan per tonne.
