SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 26,325/mt today and then edged up to RMB 26,655/mt, reaching RMB 26,745/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 26,325/mt today and then edged up to RMB 26,655/mt, reaching RMB 26,745/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1710 zinc fell to RMB 26,370/mt with leaving of longs, and closed at RMB 26,400/mt, up RMB 250/mt or 0.96%. Trading volumes increased 134,000 to 1.068 million lots, and positions increased 5,390 to 310,000. SHFE 1710 zinc will hover at highs this evening.
