SHFE 1801 Nickel Finishes Higher (2017-8-21)

SHFE 1801 nickel opened at RMB 89,700/mt today and then fell to RMB 89,380/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1801 nickel opened at RMB 89,700/mt today and then fell to RMB 89,380/mt. With rising ferrous metals, SHFE 1801 nickel surged to RMB 91,560/mt, pushed up by rebar and iron ore, and closed at RMB 91,030/mt, up RMB 3,390/mt or 3.87%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1801 nickel increased 515,000 to 1.075 million, and positions increased 14,600 to 512,000. SHFE 1801 nickel will fluctuate at highs this evening.
