SHFE Zinc Still Has Support (2017-8-21)

LME zinc opened low but closed higher last Friday, posting the biggest weekly gain over the past 9 months. Zinc inventories continued falling.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 21 (SMM) – LME zinc opened low but closed higher last Friday, posting the biggest weekly gain over the past 9 months. Zinc inventories continued falling.

LME zinc is expected to move between USD 3,110-3,160/mt today. SHFE 1710 zinc opened high and closed lower, and will fluctuate between RMB 26,050-26,450/mt, with spot prices RMB 320-400/mt above SHFE 1709 zinc.
