China’s leading ignition battery producers raised prices up again as rapid growth in lead price increased cost sharply.

SHANGHAI, Aug.17 (SMM) – China’s leading ignition battery producers raised prices up again as rapid growth in lead price increased cost sharply, such as 6-QW-45Ah up to 230-274 yuan.

In Hubei, retailers were active in purchasing ignition battery after lead price soared, depleting inventories at distributors. 6-QW-45Ah was offered at 255 yuan.

Retailers in Shandong showed replenishment demand after battery producers announced to raise battery price constantly, with 6-QW-60Ah up to 340 yuan.
