SHANGHAI, Aug. 17 (SMM) –Global aluminum market was in a big deficit during the first six months of 2017, according to latest data from World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).

In H1 2017, aluminum supply worldwide was in a deficit of 1.07 million tonnes, versus a shortage of 1.1 million tonnes for the whole of 2016.
