SHANGHAI, Aug. 17 (SMM) – The meeting over restructuring between China Hi-Tech Group Corporation and China National Machinery Industry Corporation was recently held in Beijing.
So far, the number of central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) has dropped to 101. According to State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC)’s plan, the number of central SOEs will be downsized further to within 100 this year.
An official from the SASAC, China will push for restructuring in coal power, heavy machinery and steel sectors as well as among central SOEs.
