SHANGHAI, Aug. 17 (SMM) – After a crazy night, the run-up in base metals is still on its way.
On Thursday, SHFE three-month zinc hit its daily upward limit after opening, and SHFE nickel, and DCE iron ore advanced by more than 3 per cent.

Rubber, aluminum, hot-rolled, silver and copper trading on the SHFE gained by over 2 per cent.
Rebar and gold on the SHFE, and glass on the ZCE, plastic on the DCE rose by more than 1 per cent. Meanwhile, ZCE coal and SHFE tin and ZCE cotton also increased.
