On August 15, East Hope Group and the government of Zuoquan County, Shanxi Province, signed a framework agreement to build one alumina project in the region.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 (SMM) – On August 15, East Hope Group and the government of Zuoquan County, Shanxi Province, signed a framework agreement to build one alumina project in the region.

The project, with total alumina capacity at 2.4 million tonnes, will include two production lines, each with a capacity of 1.2 million tonnes. The company will also build an 800,000-tonne lime project to support the alumina project.

[SMM Flash News] SHFE data showed that as of March 17, the total registered volume of cast aluminum alloy warrants was 53,078 mt, a decrease of 362 mt from the previous trading day.
