SHANGHAI, Aug. 14 (SMM) –Shandong Weiqiao Aluminum & Electricity Co. (short as “Shandong Weiqiao”) announced that its only shareholder, Shandong Hongqiao New Materials Co. (short as “Shandong Hongqiao”), has shut down 2.68 million tonnes of illegal aluminum capacities that were built and put into operation by Shandong Hongqiao and Shandong Hongqiao’s subsidiaries.

Those capacities are all newly added capacities by Shandong Weiqiao, Shandong Hongqiao and Shandong Hongqiao’s subsidiaries.
