SHFE Copper Finishes with Big Losses (2017-8-11)

SHFE 1710 copper opened at RMB 50,310/mt and ended at RMB 49,970/mt, down RMB 970/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 11 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1710 copper opened at RMB 50,310/mt and then dipped to RMB 49,820/mt. Later, the contract rallied slightly at the tail of trading and ended at RMB 49,970/mt, down RMB 970/mt. Positions reduced 16,490 to 221,000 and trading volumes increased 88,632 to 376,000 lots. Positions of all SHFE copper contracts reduced 24,864 to 691,000.

SHFE 1710 copper will keep falling in a short term.
