SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 24,460/mt today and then climbed to RMB 24,500/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 9 (SMM) – SHFE 1710 zinc opened at RMB 24,460/mt today and then climbed to RMB 24,500/mt. After some longs left the market, SHFE 1710 zinc fell to RMB 24,350/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1710 zinc rose to RMB 24,820/mt, the highest from November 30, 2016, and closed at RMB 24,730/mt, up RMB 840/mt or 3.52%. Trading volumes increased 191,000 to 757,000 lots, and positions added 22,612 to 261,000. SHFE 1710 zinc to remain strong this evening.
