Spot premiums of domestic zinc narrowed further by 50-70 yuan per tonne in Shanghai over SHFE September zinc today, SMM reports.

SHANGHAHI, Aug. 9 (SMM) - Spot premiums of domestic zinc narrowed further by 50-70 yuan per tonne in Shanghai over SHFE September zinc today, SMM reports.

Downstream buyers rarely enter the market since SHFE zinc prices climbed, and overall transactions were weaker than yesterday across major markets, SMM noted. Zijin and Chihong brands remain in shortages.
