SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – Spot premiums of domestic zinc narrowed 30-50 yuan per tonne in Shanghai over SHFE September zinc, SMM reports.

Downstream buyers take a wait-and-see attitude after SHFE zinc prices climbed, and overall transactions were weaker than yesterday, SMM noted.

#0 zinc traded mainly in 23,950-24,130 yuan per tonne range in Shanghai on August 8. #0 zinc prices in Guangdong were 23,910-23,970 yuan per tonne and 24,050-24,900 yuan per tonne in Tianjin, SMM data showed.
