US Copper Imports Jump in June, But Exports Fall

The US reported much higher copper imports in June, but lower copper exports, according to the US Department of Commerce. 

SHANGHAI, Aug. 7 (SMM) – The US reported much higher copper imports in June, but lower copper exports, according to the US Department of Commerce.

The country imported 78,599,458 kg of copper cathode in June, beating May’s 61,740,815 kg, while exports were 4,055,830 kg, lower than May’s 5,518,580 kg.
