Mexico imposes Provisional CV duties on Seamless Steel imports from India, South Korea

Provisional countervailing duties on imports of seamless steel tubes from South Korea, Spain, India and Ukraine were imposed by the Mexico government, irrespective of the country of origin.

MEXICO CITY (Scrap Register): Provisional countervailing duties on imports of seamless steel tubes from South Korea, Spain, India and Ukraine were imposed by the Mexico government, irrespective of the country of origin.

Tubes with outside diameters of 2-16 inches are the main product that is imposed with the duty, as per the government.

$131.10 per ton for imports from Iljin Steel Co. and other exporters from South Korea, $378.54/ per ton for imports from Tubos Industrial and other exporters from Spain, $206.70 ton for imports from India, and $170.11 per ton for imports from Ukraine, are the duties levied.
