SHANGHAI, Aug. 4 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1709 lead opened at RMB 18,475/mt and then advanced to RMB 18,690/mt. The contract fell back to RMB 18,620/mt with longs taking profits, and then increased to RMB 18,725/mt. SHFE 1709 lead closed at RMB 18,685/mt, up RMB 260/mt or 1.41%. Trading volumes reduced 24,870 to 38,284 lots and positions reduced 164 to 46,788.
