China Rebar Stocks Grow for Three Consecutive Weeks in Off-Season, SMM Says

Rebar stocks across China have been rising for three weeks in a row, SMM statistics showed.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (SMM) – Rebar stocks across China have been rising for three weeks in a row, SMM statistics showed.

As of August 3, rebar stocks totaled 4.32 million tonnes, 0.3% week-on-week, versus 2.245 million tonnes of hot-rolled steel plate stocks, down 0.2% week-on-week, and 1.11 million tonnes of steel wire rod stocks, 2.8% week-on-week.
