SHANGHAI, Aug. 2 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 23,065/mt today and then fell to RMB 23,000/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 zinc edge up and hovered around RMB 23,040/mt, and closed at RMB 23,055/mt, down RMB 105/mt or 0.45%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 zinc increased 35,048 to 393,000 lots, and positions decreased 4,106 to 185,000.SHFE 1709 zinc is expected to strengthen this evening.
