Chinese Copper, Aluminum scrap prices drop on Index; Stainless steel soars 28th July, 2017

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained unchanged at CNY 27,950 per MT upon comparison with the previous day.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices registered marginal decline on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 28th, Friday. Aluminum scrap prices too declined. Meantime, stainless steel scrap prices edged higher from the previous day. Brass scrap and Bronze scrap prices were flat on Index. Steel scrap prices too held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined marginally by CNY 100 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained unchanged at CNY 27,950 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained unchanged over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices remained flat over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices too held steady over the day. Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady.

Heater Cores prices held steady at CNY 26,750 per MT on Friday, July 28th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged when compared with the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a price decline of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too dropped by CNY 500 per MT.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers declined by CNY 50 per MT each.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 14,200 per MT.

Old Cast prices too witnessed a down move of CNY 50 per MT on 28th July, 2017.

The prices of Old Sheets saw a down move of CNY 50 per MT.

UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices declined by CNY 50 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively from the previous day levels.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady at CNY 1,630 per MT on 28th July, 2017.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS and 304 SS Solid prices climbed higher by CNY 50 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively on Index.

304 SS Turning price too was up by CNY 100 per MT.

309 SS and 316 SS Solid scrap prices edged higher by CNY 150 per MT each on July 28th, 2017.

The price of 310 SS witnessed rise of CNY 200 per MT.

Meantime, Shred SS prices were up by CNY 100 per MT respectively.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

Brass Radiator scrap prices saw no variation in prices on July 28th, 2017.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass price too remained unchanged on Index.
