Chile, world’s top copper producer, produced 453,161 tonnes of copper in June, down 5.7 per cent on a yearly basis. 

SHANGHAI, Jul. 31 (SMM) – Chile, world’s top copper producer, produced 453,161 tonnes of copper in June, down 5.7 per cent on a yearly basis.

The output decline was due mainly to closures resulting from adverse weather, unit maintenance and lower ore grade.
