SHANGHAI, Jul. 28 (SMM) – Aluminum smelters in “2+26” cities, namely Beijing, Tianjin and surrounding 26 cities, are required to cut production by over 30% during winter heating season, according to a notice issued by China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection issued a notice early this year.
