SHFE 1709 lead opened at RMB 17,660/mt and closed at RMB 17,935/mt, up RMB 415/mt or 2.37%.

SHANGHAIM, Jul. 26 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE 1709 lead opened at RMB 17,660/mt and then fell slightly to RMB 17,805/mt. Later, the contract advanced to RMB 18,125/mt briefly with soaring SHFE 1709 copper and plunged to RMB 17,815/mt as longs took profits. SHFE 1709 lead closed at RMB 17,935/mt, up RMB 415/mt or 2.37%. Trading volumes increased 44,852 to 97,296 lots and positions rose 1,120 to 38,322.
