Spot discounts for regular #0 zinc expand another 30 yuan per tonne in Shanghai market over August zinc on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on July 26.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 26 (SMM) - Spot discounts for regular #0 zinc expand another 30 yuan per tonne in Shanghai market over August zinc on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on July 26. Those in Guangdong shrank 20 yuan per tonne over August zinc, SMM reported.

China Refined Zinc Imports to Rise in June but Slide in July, SMM Foresees

Trading was slack in Shanghai and Guangdong, SMM noted. Downstream buyers in Tianjin purchased actively, because they feared prices will rise further.

Zinc Inventories at China Zinc Smelters to Grow in July, SMM Says

#0 zinc traded mainly in 23,390-23,630 yuan per tonne range in Shanghai on July 26. #0 zinc prices in Guangdong were 23,450-23,500 yuan per tonne and 23,600-24,500 yuan per tonne in Tianjin, SMM data showed.
