SHFE 1709 aluminum opened at RMB 14,465/mt on Tuesday.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 25 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 aluminum opened at RMB 14,465/mt on Tuesday. It was reported that it is necessary to take action against tightening market liquidity and rising market interest rates. This cheered market up, pushing ferrous metals and SHFE copper up. SHFE 1709 aluminum also followed suit, rising to RMB 14,590/mt before ending at RMB 14,570/mt. Trading volumes increased to 198,124 lots, and positions increased 13,176 lots to 303,680 lots. SHFE 1709 aluminum will rise further in the short term.
