SHANGHAIM, Jul. 25 (SMM) – On Tuesday, SHFE 1708 lead registered an intra-day low at RMB 17,205/mt and an intra-day high at RMB 17,590/mt. Positions dropped 2,906 to 17,128. SHFE 1709 lead, becoming the most actively trade one, opened at RMB 17,460/mt and then fluctuated at around RMB 17,450/mt after rising. The contract later advanced to RMB 17,650/mt and closed at RMB 17,645/mt, up RMB 200/mt or 1.15%. Trading volumes increased 27,518 to 52,444 lots and positions rose 17,168 to 37,202.

SHFE 1709 lead will challenge RMB 17,700/mt on Tuesday’s night trading.
