SHANGHAI, Jul. 25 (SMM) –Rio Tinto’s bauxite production hit a new high in Q2 2017, according to its quarterly report.

Shandong to Lose Crown as China’s Only Bauxite Importing Province After 2017, SMM Predicts

The company produced 12.9 million tonnes of bauxite in Q2, up 7% year-on-year. The growth was contributed by strong production at Weipa and Gove mines.
