SHANGHAI, Jun. 21(SMM) – Processing fees of tin concentrate fell further this past week due to supply tightness, SMM said.

WBMS: World Tin Still in Deficit after Output Jump January-May

Tin concentrate processing fees did not follow tin prices up. This is mainly because tin ore supplies from Burma tightened due to the monsoon season in the country, SMM explained.

All Tin Smelters in Gejiu Halt Output on Environmental Factor, SMM Reports

Prices were RMB 126,500-127,500 yuan per tonne (including tax) for tin ore (40%) in Yunnan as of July 21, RMB 130,500-131,500 yuan per tonne (including tax) for tin ore (60%) in Guangxi, RMB 131,000-131,500 yuan per tonne (including tax) for tin ore (60%) in Hunan, and RMB 130,500-131,500 yuan per tonne (including tax) for tin ore (60%) in Jiangxi.
