SHANGHAI, Jul. 21 (SMM) – Jilin Tonghua Iron & Steel will restart operation of two 2,680m³ blast furnaces on August 15 for its initial plan, and shut down 1060 m³ blast furnace after the new commissioned one reports stable production.

After the alternation of the above two blast furnaces, Jilin Tonghua Iron & Steel will reach daily molten iron output at 12,600 tonnes, up 3,600 tonnes before the alternation, based on full-load operation of two 2,680m³ blast furnaces.
