SHANGHAI, Jul. 21 (SMM) - Seven Chinese zinc companies have released their earnings reports for the first half of 2017, and three of them expect to see net profit rise over 10-fold, SMM noted.

Net profit at Chihong Zn&Ge Co., Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonfemet and Xinxing Mining Co. is expected to increase over 10-fold on a yearly basis. Only one of the seven companies reports lower profit.

Zijin Mining Net Profit Shoots up in First Half on Well-behaved Metals

Higher zinc prices lifted selling prices of their products. Meanwhile, their sales also increased after the industry picked up.
