SHFE 1708 Lead Ends with Drop (2017-7-18)

SHFE 1708 lead opened at RMB 17,760/mt and fell to RMB 17665/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 lead opened at RMB 17,760/mt and fell to RMB 17665/mt. With entry of longs, SHFE 1709 lead rose to RMB 17,815/mt and dipped to RMB 17,510/mt as shorts rushed to the market at the end of trading, but recovered some losses and closed at RMB 17,635/mt, down RMB 135/mt or 0.76%.Positions decreased 1,450 to RMB 34,018/mt, and trading volumes added 4,590 to 44,976 lots. SHFE 1709 tin will test RMB 17,500/mt this evening.
