#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery was up CNY 200 per MT to CNY 27,050 per MT.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on July 17th, Thursday. Stainless Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices too soared on Index when matched with the previous day. Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 600 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 600 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery was up CNY 200 per MT to CNY 27,050 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery went higher by CNY 150 per MT to touch CNY 23,150 per MT.
Copper Transformer scrap prices witnessed up move of CNY 50 per MT on Index. Also, Cu Yokes prices were up by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Cu/Al Radiator prices increased by CNY 150 per MT over the day.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores were up by CNY 100 and CNY 200 per MT respectively Monday, July 17th.
Meantime, prices of Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units increased marginally by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 14,100 per MT.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices increased by CNY 100 per MT each on July 17th, 2017.
Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices remained unchanged on Index.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady at CNY 1,630 per MT on 17th July, 2017.
Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices climbed higher by CNY 200 per MT to CNY 4,250 per MT.
304 SS Solid prices too increased by CNY 200 per MT over the previous day.
The price of 304 SS Turning witnessed a rise of CNY 200 per MT.
309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed increase of CNY 300 per MT and CNY 400 per MT respectively.
316 SS Solid scrap prices edged higher by CNY 300 per MT over the day on July 17th.
Shred SS prices increased by CNY 200 per MT to CNY 9,100 per MT.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded marginal rise from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices saw rise of CNY 100 per MT on July 17th, 2017.
Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 100 per MT each.
