SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 75,580/mt today, and then fell to RMB 75,510/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 14 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 75,580/mt today, and then fell to RMB 75,510/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 nickel rose to RMB 76,850/mt and closed at RMB 76,640/mt, up RMB 610/mt or 0.80%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 nickel increased 79,800 to 406,000, and positions added 15,648 to 494,000. SHFE nickel is expected to hover at highs this evening. US June CPI and Industrial output are due for release this evening.
