What’s Impact on Manganese Producer in Guangxi from Flooding? SMM Reports

The flooding hit Nanning, Liuzhou, Baise, and Hechi among 7 cities of Guangxi after strong rains since July 10. What’s the impact on local manganese producers in those regions?

SHANGHAI, Jul. 14 (SMM) – The flooding hit Nanning, Liuzhou, Baise, and Hechi among 7 cities of Guangxi after strong rains since July 10. Latest data show the flooding has affected more than 120,000 people, killing 2.

What’s the impact on local manganese producers in those regions?

SMM survey finds that so far EMM and alloy producers have not been influenced by the flooding, except manganese ore producers, which suffer slightly from the flooding, and this will increase drying cost for ore. As a whole, the impact on the manganese industry is limited in Guangxi.
