SHFE 1709 aluminum opened at RMB 14,425/mt and ended at RMB 14,375/mt.

SHANGHAIM, Jul. 14 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1709 aluminum opened at RMB 14,425/mt and then advanced to RMB 14,480/mt. Later, the contract dipped to RMB 14,360/mt as output cut news by 2 million mt in Shandong was digested by market participants. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1709 aluminum fluctuated narrowly at lows and ended at RMB 14,375/mt. Trading volumes increased 104,000 to 256,834 lots and positions rose 7,732 to 307,672.

SHFE 1709 aluminum returned to normal level on Friday.
