SHANGHAI, Jul. 13 (SMM) – One stainless steel mill in north China recently announced the procurement price for high-grade NPI at 830 yuan per mtu (price to factory, including tax), Shanghai Metals Market learns.

The company’s own high-grade NPI plant, after suspending production from June, remains offline due to no profits. 

With nickel rallying slightly, high-grade NPI producers showed low interest in supplying goods at the price level.
