SHANGHAI, Jul. 10 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 22,940/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,950/mt. In the afternoon, short momentum mounted, pushing down nonferrous metals. SHFE 1709 zinc fell and stopped rising at RMB 22,730/mt. At the end of trading, SHFE 1709 zinc dropped further and closed at RMB 22,640/mt, down RMB 185/mt or 0.81%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1708 zinc increased 153,000 to 398,000 lots, and positions increased 6,064 to 273,000. SHFE 1708 zinc will test RMB 22,800/mt this evening.

SHFE 1709 zinc opened at RMB 22,940/mt today and then hovered around RMB 22,950/mt.
