China Refined Tin Output to Drop in July, SMM Forecasts

China’s refined tin output rose 12.7% MoM to 15,451 tonnes in June, and will inch down to 15,300 tonnes in July.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 10 (SMM) - China’s refined tin output rose 12.7% MoM to 15,451 tonnes in June as expected, SMM survey found. China Tin Group restarted operation from unit maintenance in the month, and some tin smelters in Yunnan, cutting output due to environmental checks and power cut, also resumed output to normal level.

SMM expects refined tin output to inch down to 15,300 tonnes in July from June’s level. Tin smelters in Inner Mongolia will start annual unit maintenance in latest 1-2 months, and the commission data is not unclear yet, despite of output resumption at tin smelters in Jiangxi, which suspended output due to factory removal. Besides, output at one tin smelter in Yunnan is affected by accidents.

NOVOSENSE Microelectronics announced that the company achieved operating revenue of 33,678.231 million yuan in 2025, up 71.80% YoY; net profit attributable to owners of the parent company was -241.0767 million yuan; and net profit attributable to owners of the parent company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was -289.7211 million yuan. Benefiting from strong growth in operating revenue, the company's losses narrowed compared to the same period last year. Demand in the downstream automotive electronics sector grew steadily, and the company's automotive electronics-related products continued to ramp up; the overall pan-energy sector showed a recovery trend, with most clients in the PV and ESS sectors returning to normal demand, while server power supply client demand grew rapidly driven by AI.
