SHANGHAI, Jul. 10 (SMM) - China’s refined tin output rose 12.7% MoM to 15,451 tonnes in June as expected, SMM survey found. China Tin Group restarted operation from unit maintenance in the month, and some tin smelters in Yunnan, cutting output due to environmental checks and power cut, also resumed output to normal level.

SMM expects refined tin output to inch down to 15,300 tonnes in July from June’s level. Tin smelters in Inner Mongolia will start annual unit maintenance in latest 1-2 months, and the commission data is not unclear yet, despite of output resumption at tin smelters in Jiangxi, which suspended output due to factory removal. Besides, output at one tin smelter in Yunnan is affected by accidents.
