SHANGHAI, Jul. 7 (SMM) - Chinese zinc smelters increased production significantly in June after maintenance, SMM survey finds.

Meanwhile, higher domestic zinc concentrate TCs left profit at zinc smelters steady, and this also incentivized their production.

The average rate at SMM survey sample was 74.04% in June, up 5.97% on-month. The average operating rate at smelters will be around 74% in July, SMM expects.
