SHFE 1708 aluminum moved down after opening at RMB 14,090/mt on Tuesday, touching an intraday low of RMB 14,005/mt in the afternoon.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 4 (SMM) – SHFE 1708 aluminum moved down after opening at RMB 14,090/mt on Tuesday, touching an intraday low of RMB 14,005/mt in the afternoon. The most active contract found support at the 5-day moving average and rebounded slightly before ending at RMB 14,040/mt, with trading volumes down to 119,962 lots, and positions down 7,974 lots to 185,448 lots. Positions of SHFE 1709 aluminum rose 11,386 lots to 185,356 lots. SHFE 1708 aluminum will test support at RMB 14,000/mt during today’s night session.
