Chinese Aluminum, Stainless Steel scrap prices surged on Index on 3rd July, 2017

The Chinese aluminum scrap prices registered increase in prices on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 3rd, Monday.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices registered increase in prices on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 3rd, Monday. Stainless Steel scrap prices too were up. Meantime, copper and steel scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day. Brass scrap and Bronze scrap prices too were flat when matched with the previous day.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no price change over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also remained flat.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady at CNY 23,200 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, July 3rd.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 150 per MT over the previous day. Aluminum Ingots prices surged higher by CNY 150 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 150 per MT to touch CNY 13,850 per MT.

The prices of Old Sheet and Old Cast witnessed rise of CNY 150 per MT each on July 3rd, 2017.

UBC scrap prices hit CNY 10,650 per MT, jumping higher by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Meantime, Zorba 90% NF prices held steady.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady at CNY 1,630 per MT on 3rd July, 2017.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices witnessed rise of CNY 100 per MT to touch CNY 4,100 per MT.

The prices of 304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning were up by CNY 100 per MT each.

309 SS prices jumped higher by CNY 200 per MT.

310 SS prices were up by CNY 300 per MT to touch CNY 15,050 per MT on July 3rd, 2017.

316 SS Solid and Shred SS prices increased by CNY 200 per MT and CNY 100 per MT respectively.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China witnessed no change on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices remained unchanged at CNY 30,100 per MT on July 3rd, 2017.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
