SHANGHAI, Jun. 30 (SMM) – Another 4 steel factories in Tangshan, Hebei province have been closed, csteelnews.com reported.
Tangshan Guofeng Iron & Steel is one of the four mills being closed down, and the latest round of closures include 3 converters and 4 blast furnaces at the four plants, involving steel-making capacities of 1.98 million tonnes and iron-smelting capacities of 2.51 million tonnes.

After these closures, Tangshan has completed its 53.8 per cent of iron&steel elimination target of the year, by totally closing 7 converters and 6 blast furnaces, with 4.67 million tonnes of steel-making capacities and 3.81 million tonnes of iron-smelling capacities.
